1. Are the union contractors who make up the AES family more expensive?

No. In fact, AES contractors are typically ten to twenty percent less expensive than other contractors.
2. How do I know that the serviceman who comes to my home is qualified?

You can be assured that all of our servicemen are licensed by the City of Reno. In addition, Union contractors have access to the most comprehensive training center in the electrical industry with more than 25,000 square feet of classrooms and labs.
3. Are there any common electrical problems that I can take care of myself?
Yes. Customers often call when their bathroom, garage or outside receptacles don’t work. Most of the time, you should look to see if you have a GFCI receptacle or breaker tripped somewhere. GFCI receptacles have a test and reset button on their face. They often control other receptacles that look like normal outlets. Sometimes, there is a breaker in the panel that may need to be reset. You can tell if a breaker has tripped if the switch is in the middle and is neither on nor off. If you have checked all of your GFCI receptacles or breakers and you still have a problem, give us a call.
